While sponsoring a child who is suffering from congenital heart diseases for open heart surgery at a cost of Rs 70,000 you are saving a life (giving the child a second lease of life), building peace and helping the family and local community to tide over a difficult situation.
You receive a photograph of the sponsored/operated child with a smiling face, tax benefits under Sec 80G and to meet the child and interact with its parents at hospital bedside before or after the surgery.
Your benevolent gesture will appear in the monthly Gift of Life news bulletin circulated throughout Rotary world and in Gift of Life website and an opportunity to meet the child and interact with its parents at hospital bedside before or after the surgery.
Gol website posts all relevant information and writes to each donor giving full account of patients for whom the funds have been used. GOL accounts are audited by independent registered Chartered Accountant who furnish annual financial reports.
